PATNA, Aug. 7 -- Rashtriya Janata Dal ( RJD) on Thursday suspended all organisational committees and cells from state to district levels with immediate effect on the orders of the national working president of the party Tejashwi Prasad Yadav, a party statement said. The order was issued by state chief Magani Lal Mandal. Party insiders said that the move came amid the internal squabbling in the party and dissenting voices raised by some leaders, including MLAs, following the party's poor show in the recent Bankipur by-election. RJD nominee Rekha Gupta had come a poor third in the multi cornered fight in the bypoll. "There have been recent episodes of leaders making accusations against each other in public. Internal squabbling has also increased in various district and state level committees and cells. This is why, the top leadership has now decided to form the committees at the state, district and panchayat level afresh. New faces will now be brought in all state and district committees," said a senior RJD leader.
