PATNA, May 19 -- In a bid to address grievances at the panchayat level, the state government will be starting the Sahyog Shivirs (camps) in panchayats across the state from May 19, in which officials from various departments would be accepting complaints and the petitions would be disposed of within 30 days, as per an official press statement. Development commissioner Mihir Kumar Singh, in a press statement, said CM Samrat Choudhary will launch the Shayog Shivirs with the aim of resolving the problems faced by the commoners. Such camps would be organised regularly every 15 days where issues related to ration cards, pension, house, MGNREGA, land-related issues, caste certificates, power, electricity and other issues related to government schemes would be addressed. Officials said the ministers in-charge of districts would attend such camps in at least three blocks in their respective districts and also monitor the functioning of these camps along with officials concerned. In Patna, 40 panchayats have been selected where the camps would be organised and 57 nodal officials have been deputed for it. The camps to begin at 10 am would have 19 stalls of various departments and block development officers would monitor the camps at their own level. Bihar has recorded a credit deposit ration of 60.21 per cent in 2025-26 , which is the highest in recent years indicating higher devolutions of loans to people against the deposits in banks. Development commissioner Mihir Kumar Singh , in a press statement, said, " Bihar has achieved a CD ratio of 60.21 per cent for the first time in the financial year 2025-26 which is considered an important indicator of the state's economy , investment activities and growing confidence in the banking system". Singh , while chairing a state-level banking review meeting, made a detailed review of Bihar's banking performance, loan disbursement and credit flow in priority sectors.
