44 Himachal engg students leave for Japan exposure tour
Dharamshala, Sept. 7 -- Himachal Pradesh CM Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu on Sunday virtually flagged off 44 meritorious BTech students from engineering colleges of Himachal Pradesh for the Japan International Exposure Tour-2026.
The tour is being organised from September 6 to 12 by the department of technical education. It is the second international exposure tour. Earlier, an international exposure tour to Kazakhstan was organised for ITI students. Sukhu said that, by taking this initiative forward, meritorious BTech students are now being provided international exposure.
He said that a total of 44 meritorious students from different engineering disciplines, including 24 boys and 20 girls, are participating in the Japan tour.
During the visit, the students will tour leading academic, research and industrial institutions, including Tokyo Metropolitan University, JAXA Tsukuba Space Centre, Cyberdyne Robotics Studio, JAL Aerospace Factory, Kyocera Factory and various industries in Osaka. HTC...
