THANE, May 27 -- A 21-year-old worker died after falling from a crane lift while carrying out repair work at the ordnance factory in Ambernath on Monday. The deceased, identified as Vasim Khan, was engaged in repair work involving the installation of tin sheets at the factory premises when the accident took place. According to the police, Khan was fixing a safety net while working from a crane lift when he apparently lost balance and fell from the elevated platform.
