NAVI MUMBAI, March 11 -- Three fishermen rescued a 24-year-old woman who allegedly jumped into Vashi Creek from a moving suburban train on Tuesday morning. The woman, a Chembur resident, had boarded a Panvel-bound local around 9am. As the train slowed while crossing the Vashi Creek railway bridge, she allegedly jumped from the coach into the creek. Fishermen Mahesh Sutar, Roshan Bhoir and Ajay Bhoir, who were fishing nearby, spotted her and immediately steered their boat towards her and pulled her out of the water.
