AGARTALA, July 10 -- Union minister for communications and development of north eastern region Jyotiraditya Scindia on Thursday said that Tripura was emerging as a focal point of investment and gateway to Southeast Asia, urging investors to partner in the northeastern state's growth story. Virtually addressing the two-day Tripura Business Conclave 2026, the union minister said that emergence of Tripura as the largest bamboo-producing and the second largest natural rubber-producing state offers prospects for manufacturing, value addition and exports. Speaking about Tripura being India's third international internet gateway, Scindia said, "It would open huge number of ITs, IT-enabled services, machine learning, Artificial Intelligence scopes for the youths of not only in Tripura but the youths across the world to come to Tripura."...
