Kaivalyadham lease renewed at Rs.12/annum
Mumbai, Sept. 9 -- The Maharashtra government on Tuesday approved the renewal of the lease of the Kaivalyadham Ishwardas Chunnilal Yogic Centre in Bhuleshwar, for another 30 years at an annual rent of just Rs.12.
The lease of the 2,546-sq m plot expired on October 30, 1999 and was not renewed since.
On Tuesday, the state government cited the centre's work in the public interest while approving the concessional lease.
The yoga centre offers several certificate, diploma, and degree courses focused on yoga education, philosophy, and therapy.
"Kaivalyadham provides education, training and treatment in yoga, pranayama, naturopathy and ayurveda, besides conducting research in yoga, postgraduate diploma courses and daily yoga sessions," said a release issued by the chief minister office (CMO)....
