2.6mn rejected for annapurna scheme in wb; s.i.r. among reasons
Kolkata, July 2 -- West Bengal chief minister Suvendu Adhikari said on Wednesday that 2.6 million of the 16 million applications received for the Annapurna Yojana scheme were rejected for a variety of reasons, including deletion from electoral rolls after the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) exercise.
