VARANASI, July 23 -- The Bharatiya Janata Party's Uttar Pradesh unit general secretary (organisation) Dharampal Singh on Wednesday called upon all booth presidents to accord top priority to booth empowerment. He directed that lists of active and primary members be prepared for every booth and that regular contact and communication must be established with veteran and new workers, former office-bearers and public representatives. As part of the series of booth president conventions organised simultaneously by the BJP across all 403 assembly constituencies of the state, BJP booth presidents were held on Wednesday in the 71 assembly constituencies of the Kashi region. Singh monitored the first-gathered information regarding the organisation's ground-level status from 353 booth presidents of the Varanasi South constituency participated in the event. He emphasised that 'Win the booth, win the election' is the BJP's core mantra. The party's success hinges on a strong booth structure and effective booth management. He clarified that the organisation's true strength lies in robust booths; therefore, it is essential for every booth to be empowered. He remarked that the BJP's greatest strengths are its dedicated workers and its solid booth structure. It is the booth-level worker who plays a decisive role in taking the government's policies and achievements to every household. "Involving local citizens in booth-level programs will expand the organisation and help create an ideal booth in organisational terms. Work must proceed based on the formula of 'prior preparation and complete preparation' for the 2027 Assembly elections. A robust booth structure will undoubtedly ensure that the BJP's victory flag flies high in Uttar Pradesh for a third consecutive term," Singh said....
