Weaving stories: One image, many tales at BHU
VARANASI, Sept. 9 -- Students of science and philosophy showcased their creative talent on the second day of 'Hindi Week' as part of the annual 'Anviti-2026' festival organised by the Hindi Publication Committee at BHU on Tuesday.
Students from disciplines ranging from science to philosophy penned stories based on a single image, exploring themes such as social harmony, the Leela (divine play) of Krishna, the environment, and faith.
Students were presented with an image, and from that single visual, they crafted diverse stories born of their own imaginations.
Students from the Science, Arts, and Mahila Mahavidyalaya (Women's College) faculties took the stage, weaving narratives around the same image that touched upon themes such as child psychology, drought, Eid, communalism, and the divine play of Lord Krishna.
Convener Prof Gyaneshwer Chaubey stated that the aim of 'Anviti' is to build a bridge between science and Hindi....
