PRAYAGRAJ, July 18 -- A video allegedly showing a young woman and her male companion being assaulted under Dilippur police station limits in Pratapgarh has gone viral on social media, prompting police to register a case against six and launch a manhunt for the accused. According to police, the incident is believed to have taken place in the Najiyapur forest area. After the video went viral, an inquiry was conducted, after which the local Mission Shakti Kendra initiated legal action. The viral footage reportedly shows a young woman and her companion being confronted by a group of youths amid dense vegetation. The woman is seen attempting to escape while calling for help, while her companion is allegedly caught and assaulted. Police have not yet established the identities of the two victims. On a complaint by Mission Shakti Kendra in-charge Sarika Sahu, a case has been registered against Suraj Gaud, Patlu and Zishan of Ghorka Mufrid village under Dilippur and Bablu, of Yahiyapur, along with two unidentified persons....
