Dehradun, July 19 -- Union railway minister Ashwini Vaishnaw on Saturday on Saturday virtually flagged off the first direct Express train service connecting Ramnagar and Dehradun. According to the Indian Railways, the trains will operate every Wednesday and Friday. Train No.15310 will depart from Ramnagar at 5.50am and reach Dehradun at 12.40pm. Train No 15309 will leave Dehradun at 5.50am and reach Ramnagar at 11.30pm. The train will stop at Kashipur, Roshanpur, Pipalsana, Moradabad, Najibabad and Haridwar en route. The service will have AC two-tier, AC three-tier, AC Chair Car, Sleeper Class, Second Sitting and General Second Class coaches, catering to passengers across different travel categories. Vaishnaw said the service would strengthen rail connectivity between Kumaon and Garhwal, and were responding to a longstanding demand. CM Pushkar Singh Dhami joined the event virtually....
