US Nagar: Seven killed in two road accidents
Rudrapur, April 11 -- At least seven people died in separate road accidents reported within two days in Udham Singh Nagar district, police said on Friday, adding that two of the accidents involved speeding dumpers.
In one incident, five men from Gaurikhera village in Sitarganj were travelling to visit a relative in Uttar Pradesh on Thursday night. A speeding dumper hit their vehicle, causing it to overturn. All five were rushed to the government hospital in Sitarganj, where doctors declared three of them dead. The deceased were Mohammad Sultan, 24, Mohammad Nazim, 16, and his brother Mohammad Shadab, 26. Local circle officer, BS Dhoni said police are trying to trace the accused driver....
