In boys' under-14 singles pre-quarter action, Maharashtra's Ayush Deuskr announced himself with a convincing 6-0, 6-2 victory over Bihar's Ankur Alok, eliminating the fourth seed in a notable upset. Uttar Pradesh's Arnav Srivastava edged past Chhattisgarh's Kautilya Kumar in a thriller, 6-3, 0-6, 10-8, toppling the fifth seed. Local favourite Arav Shukla advanced after a walkover against Yuvraaj Singh, ousting the second seed from the draw. Pranay Shukla mounted a composed performance to beat Vibhor Srivastava 6-2, 7-5 and knock out the sixth, whereas eight seeded Krishna Singh powered through 6-0, 6-4 against Asvik Srivastava, while top seed Tejas Singh maintained form with a 6-2, 6-1 win over Arnav Srivastava.
