UP government to table supplementarybudget on August 4
LUCKNOW, July 29 -- The Uttar Pradesh government will present its first supplementary budget for 2026-27 in the state legislative assembly at 12.20 pm on August 4, according to the tentative business schedule for the upcoming monsoon session released on Tuesday. The budget will be put to vote on August 6.
The monsoon session of the state legislature will begin on August 3. The House will be adjourned for the day after paying tributes to senior Samajwadi Party leader and sitting MLA Alam Badi Azmi, who died recently at the age of 90.
Besides the supplementary budget on August 4, the government has proposed to table nine ordinances promulgated after the budget session.
These include the Uttar Pradesh Vaniki aur Audyaniki Vishwavidyalaya (Second) Ordinance, 2026, the Uttar Pradesh Revenue Code (Third Amendment) Ordinance, 2026, and the Uttar Pradesh Revenue Code (Fourth Amendment) Ordinance, 2026.
