VARANASI, Oct. 11 -- The BJP will train 266 assembly in-charges and full-time organisers from the Kashi and Goraksh regions on October 14 and 15 as part of its preparations for the 2027 Uttar Pradesh assembly elections. BJP national general secretary (organisation) BL Santhosh, national general secretary and state in-charge Vinod Tawde, and state general secretary (organisation) Dharmpal Singh will lead the two-day training programme at Chaudhary Lawn in Sundarpur, starting at 4 pm on October 14 and concluding at 4 pm the next day. Six sessions will be held during the programme. The participants will include 142 office-bearers from the Kashi region, which has 71 assembly seats, and 124 from the Goraksh region, which has 62 seats. During a meeting at the BJP's regional office in Rohania, Kashi region president Ashok Chaurasia said the workshop would focus on strengthening organisational work at the assembly constituency level and coordinating election preparations. Anoop Jaiswal conducted the meeting, while Vidyadhar Tiwari proposed the vote of thanks.
