PRAYAGRAJ, Sept. 26 -- The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UP Board) has extended the deadline for finalising examination centres for the 2027 high school and intermediate examinations to November 27. This is the second revision to the centre-allotment schedule. The original deadline was September 18. It was later extended to October 29 due to school closures during the Kanwar Yatra in western UP and flood-like conditions in districts including Gonda and Sitapur. According to an order issued by special secretary Sandeep Parmar on Friday, district inspectors of schools (DIoSs) will upload reports of physical verification, along with recommendations from tehsil-level committees, by October 12. The list of schools selected online as examination centres will be uploaded by October 22 for scrutiny by district-level committees headed by district magistrates, board officials said. Objections from students, parents, principals and managers will be invited until October 28. After disposing of objections, the revised centre list will be released by November 16. A final round of objections will be accepted until November 21, with the final list scheduled for release on November 27, officials confirmed....
