LUCKNOW, Aug. 27 -- The Uttar Pradesh government has earmarked Rs.12.28 crore for early childhood care and education (ECCE) capacity-building training for teachers and other frontline education workers across all 75 districts during the 2026-27 financial year. According to the district-wise budget document, Rs.12,28,20,375 has been allocated for the programme, which will cover training at both district and block levels. The allocation includes expenses for training participants, stationery, printing of training modules, and other programme-related requirements. The programme will include a three-day training for nodal academic resource persons (ARPs) and nodal Shikshak Sankul representatives, besides a two-day training for ECCE educators at the district level. At the block level, nodal teachers and Anganwadi workers will undergo three-day training. Lucknow has been allocated Rs.9.70 lakh under the programme, while Prayagraj has Rs.26.38 lakh and Varanasi Rs.12.44 lakh....
