Dehradun/Rudrapur, April 11 -- Police may invoke Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA) charges upon two weapon smugglers arrested in US Nagar during a recent checking drive, pending investigation into alleged links with a designated terror outfit, officers said on Friday. Harendra Singh alias Honey and Nikhil Verma alias Ranu were arrested near Sitarganj on Wednesday during a joint checking drive under Operation Prahar by the Special Operations Group (Rudrapur) and local police.
