LUCKNOW, Sept. 19 -- Uttar Pradesh will hold consultation programmes with various departments and stakeholders for the implementation of the Solid Waste Management Rules and Construction and Demolition Waste Management Rules. "A comprehensive action plan was formulated today to address dust pollution. Discussions were held regarding the Solid Waste Management Rules and the Construction and Demolition Waste Management Rules," said Union environment and climate change minister Bhupender Yadav here on Friday. A discussion on the consultation programmes was held during the meeting between CM Yogi Adityanath and Yadav. The minister said the meeting covered vehicle pollution issues, new EV Policy, electric buses, mandatory pollution certificates and aggregator vehicles. It was informed that nearly 80% of industries have installed Online Continuous Emission Monitoring System and air pollution control devices. Action is being taken to implement these systems in the remaining industries, a press release said....
