A speeding car allegedly lost control and rammed into a motorcycle ferrying four people, leaving the riders seriously injured.
The deceased have been identified as Sharbati, 65, and her daughter-in-law/relative Komal, 35. The six-year-old boy, Rudra, and Lucky, who was riding the motorcycle, sustained serious injuries and are undergoing treatment at Meerut Medical College.
According to police and family members, Lucky, a resident of Loni in Ghaziabad, had come with his friends to his maternal grandmother's home in Shivpura, under Partapur police station limits in Meerut. He later took his grandmother Sharbati to the house of his maternal aunt Komal in Muradabad village.
