LUCKNOW, July 10 -- The administration of King George's Medical University (KGMU) on Wednesday detained two individuals at the Lari Cardiology outpatient department (OPD), accused of misleading patients and attempting to divert them to private medical stores and hospitals. A team led by Prof KK Singh, King George's Medical University spokesperson, along with Dr Bhaskar Agrawal and other members, carried out a covert surveillance operation in the Lari Cardiology complex on Thursday. During the surveillance, the team caught two persons allegedly attempting to lure patients to their own medical store and a private hospital. The duo was immediately handed over to the police for further action.
