AGRA, Sept. 22 -- Two labourers died and another sustained injuries after a mudslide at an under-construction site in the Sikandra area of Agra on Monday. Construction work was underway on a wall alongside a drain being laid by the labourers in an industrial area near a petrol pump in Sikandra. Bajrang Prasad, assistant commissioner of police (ACP), Hariparvat circle, Agra Police Commissionerate, said that two labourers died in the incident, while one labourer who survived is undergoing treatment. The mudslide occurred at around 12 noon on Monday, trapping three labourers working at the site. A rescue operation was launched and all three labourers were pulled out after a JCB machine was brought in. The deceased were identified as Vikas, 22, and Susheel, 25.
