LUCKNOW, Oct. 19 -- Two men were killed after a speeding car collided with their motorcycle near Kurawan turn on Rae Bareli Road on Saturday night while they were heading to watch Durga Puja celebrations. The accident occurred around 10 pm when the car, coming from the opposite direction, hit the motorcycle. The victims, Rajdev Yadav, 55, and Ramu Rawat, 52, both residents of Sakhupura village, died on the spot. The car driver abandoned the vehicle and fled the scene. Purakalandar police, with the help of local residents, took the two men to the district hospital, where doctors declared them dead. Their bodies were sent for postmortem on Sunday. Rajdev worked as a farmer and also ran a small tea stall near Bhabha crossroads, close to his village. He was riding the motorcycle at the time of the accident....
