Lakhimpur Kheri, Aug. 22 -- Two people were feared drowned while two others swam to safety after the wooden boat they were travelling in capsized in the strong current of the swollen Mohana river near Babapurwa and Jasnagar villages under Tikunia police station limits on the India-Nepal border on Friday afternoon. The four villagers had gone to their fields across the Mohana river to collect grass for their cattle. The boat capsized while they were returning with the grass. Sub-divisional magistrate (SDM), Nighasan, Yaduveer Singh, said the four were identified as Ranjit and Balram of Babapurwa, and Ram Kumar and Ashok of Kyotali villages. Singh said Ram Kumar and Ashok managed to swim to safety, while Ranjit and Balram were carried away by the strong current....
