Two die as bus overturns in Ghazipur
Varanasi, April 10 -- Two women were killed and 35 people sustained injuries after a tourist bus overturned on the Varanasi-Gorakhpur highway near Naisare village under Nandganj police station in Ghazipur district on Thursday, police said. The incident occurred after the bus collided with the road divider. The condition of three of the injured is reported to be critical. The deceased are Annapurna Devi, 50 and Saraswati Devi, 70, both from Maharashtra, police said. The bus was on its way to Varanasi from Nepal's capital Kathmandu, police said. Additional SP of Ghazipur city Dr Rakesh Kumar Mishra, visited the medical college to inquire about the condition of the injured. The police have initiated an investigation into the entire matter....
