PRAYAGRAJ, May 18 -- Two brothers drowned in the Ganga while taking a bath at Kuresar Dandi Ghat in the Nawabganj area on Sunday morning, police said. The deceased were identified as 25-year-old Mohammad Kash and his 18-year-old brother Mohammad Kaif, sons of local school manager Mohd Altafuddin. The family members and villagers gathered at the ghat during the rescue operation. According to police, Kash and Kaif, residents of Kuresar Dandi, had reached the ghat on a motorcycle around 9 am for bathing. Eyewitnesses said the brothers accidentally moved into deep water while bathing. People present at the ghat raised an alarm and attempted to rescue them, but the strong current of the Ganga swept them away within moments....
