Lucknow, July 3 -- A 35-year-old trader died after allegedly jumping from the eighth floor of a residential apartment in Lucknow's Mahanagar area on Thursday evening, police said. According to police, the incident was reported around 7 pm through Dial-112 from the multi-storeyed apartment in the Vigyanpuri outpost area. The man, a resident of the apartment, sustained critical injuries after the fall and was rushed to Bhau Rao Deoras Hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
