LUCKNOW, Sept. 6 -- Teachers' Day was celebrated across schools and colleges in Lucknow on Saturday, with institutions honouring teachers and welcoming new students. At IMRT Business School, an Orientation Programme-2026 was held at the Divine Bliss Campus for new UG and PG students. Chief guest Smt Aradhana Shukla, former bureaucrat, encouraged students to pursue their goals with integrity and confidence. Former bureaucrat Pradeep Kumar Shukla and Milind Raj, known as the Drone Man of India, were also present. Lucknow Public Schools (C P Singh Foundation) felicitated 781 teachers across its 10 branches in Lucknow, Unnao and Raebareli with cheques, appreciation letters and gifts. At Lucknow Public Schools and Colleges, a felicitation programme was held at Shri Ramlal Memorial Auditorium, Gomti Nagar, with former UP chief minister Akhilesh Yadav as chief guest.
