GORAKHPUR, Sept. 20 -- Bharatiya Janata Party national general secretary Vinod Tawde, the party's UP incharge, held one-on-one interactions with around half-a-dozen MLAs from Mau, Azamgarh and Siddharth Nagar in Gorakhpur on Friday night. The discussions focused primarily on strengthening the organisation at the grassroots level, maintaining constant contact with the public, and accelerating preparations before the state elections. He remarked that election preparations should take advantage of both the energy of young workers and the experience of senior leaders. Tawde also visited cabinet minister Sanjay Nishad's residence in Gorakhpur on Friday night. The two held an hour-long meeting.
