Prayagraj, Oct. 26 -- The death of a suspended constable has prompted a police investigation after two unidentified men abandoned his body at Swaroop Rani Nehru (SRN) Hospital on Sunday morning and fled. The officer, who resided with his family in the Police Lines, had been under suspension regarding a departmental matter. Hospital sources reported that two men arrived at the facility in an e-rickshaw with the deceased and departed immediately after dropping him off. Doctors examined the constable and declared him dead. Police arrived shortly after to initiate an inquiry, and he was identified several hours later.
