LUCKNOW, March 23 -- Noted singer Surabhi Ranjan was awarded the prestigious Naushad Samman on Sunday at a cultural event organised for soldiers in the Cantonment area of the city. The event, held under the banner of "Avadh Mela", brought together senior Army officers, soldiers and their families for an evening dedicated to music, culture and recognition. The programme was organised with support from the tourism department and the Uttar Pradesh Sangeet Natak Akademi and was specially curated for army personnel under the Central Command.
