Lucknow, Oct. 25 -- The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UP Board) extended the last date for submitting the candidates' list (nominal roll) to October 26, giving a final opportunity to the schools yet to complete the process. Dinesh Kumar, divisional science progress officer at the office of the joint director (education), Lucknow division, confirmed it. According to a notice issued by Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UP Board) secretary Bhagwati Singh, all recognised secondary schools must generate/download the list of candidates for advance registration of Class 9 and 11 and the examination application for Class 10 and 12 for the 2026-27 academic session from the Board's portal, and submit a copy of the treasury challan to the respective district inspector of schools office. The original deadline was October 15, which was later extended to October 22. However, even after the extension, 940 schools across the state have not generated their nominal rolls, the Board said....
