State-run oil cos hike prices of commercial LPG, aviation fuel
New Delhi, April 2 -- State-run oil companies on Wednesday raised prices of commercial liquefied petroleum gas by Rs.195.50 per 19-kg refill and aviation turbine fuel by over 100% to over Rs.2.07 lakh per kiloliter, but after government's intervention moderated ATF rate increase to 8.6% at Rs.1,04,927 per KL for scheduled domestic airlines.
Effectively, the price of commercial LPG, used by hotels, hostels and restaurants, was increased from Rs.1,883 per 19kg cylinder to Rs.2,078.50 in Delhi, marking a 10.4% rise. Rates of fuels vary across cities depending on local levies. P11...
