State BJP office erupts in joy
Lucknow, May 5 -- The state BJP headquarters witnessed jubilant celebrations on Monday after the party's victory in the assembly elections in West Bengal, Assam, and Puducherry.
Party workers gathered at the state office, beating drums, bursting firecrackers, and distributing sweets.
Chants of 'Bharat Mata Ki Jai' and 'Narendra Modi Zindabad' echoed through the premises. Celebrations gathered momentum after both deputy CMs Brajesh Pathak and Keshav Prasad Maurya reached the office. They were joined by state general secretary (organisation) Dharampal Singh. State BJP President Pankaj Chaudhary was not present in Lucknow CM Yogi Adityanath's public rallies in West Bengal during campaigning was much talked about topic at the party office. In a message, state BJP president Pankaj Chaudhary said the results from Bengal, Assam, and Puducherry were a trailer ahead of 'Mission 2027' in Uttar Pradesh.
Addressing the workers, deputy Maurya said the BJP's victory in West Bengal, Assam, and Puducherry is a clear reflection of New India's public sentiment.
He credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership as the main basis of the success. Pathak termed the results a victory for Indian democracy, saying the success reflects approval of the PM's able leadership and the BJP's public welfare policies.
Meanwhile, BJP leaders in Gorakhpur felicitated the CM following the party's victory in West Bengal, Assam, and Puducherry. Dr Manglesh Srivastava, Gorakhpur mayor, said the CM's rallies across West Bengal created strong momentum in favour of BJP candidates. As the results were announced, party workers celebrated enthusiastically in Gorakhpur.
After the felicitation, Yogi visited the Gorakhnath Temple where he offered prayers....
