LUCKNOW, June 29 -- The Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (UPPCL) has extended the deadline for payment of postpaid electricity bills to June 29, 2026. The revised deadline is applicable to consumers whose original payment due date fell before June 29. UPPCL has urged consumers to pay their electricity bills by the revised deadline to avoid late payment surcharge. The corporation said bill details have already been sent to consumers via SMS and WhatsApp. Consumers who have not received their bills can access them through their respective discom's WhatsApp chatbot, the 1912 helpline, the UPPCL Smart App or the department's website using their account or connection number. Consumers can pay their electricity bills online through the UPPCL Smart App, the department's website, and digital payment platforms such as Paytm, Google Pay, PhonePe and Amazon Pay.
