VARANASI, Aug. 20 -- Six students of the Faculty of Law at Banaras Hindu University (BHU) have been selected in the CBI Public Prosecutor Examination 2026 conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). The result marks one of the strongest performances by the faculty of law in a national-level competitive law examination in recent years. The CBI Public Prosecutor Examination is among the most rigorous and sought-after examinations in the legal services field. It attracts candidates from leading law schools across the country. The selected candidates will represent the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in prosecuting some of the country's most significant criminal cases. The examination is therefore considered prestigious and carries significant responsibility. Six students from the Faculty of Law secured places among the top 20 candidates. Their ranks are: 1.
