Lucknow, June 28 -- BJP MLA Rajeshwar Singh has written to schools in his assembly segment, inviting them to install rainwater harvesting systems free of cost under the Net Zero Sarojininagar Mission 2040. The initiative aims to transform educational institutions into centers of environmental leadership and sustainable development, making it the first constituency-wide campaign of its kind in India. As part of the initiative, the 60 schools already equipped with digital labs under Singh's education reforms have been invited to take the next step in their journey by becoming "Green Schools" through the installation of these free rainwater harvesting systems. In his letter to schools, Singh stated, "The future of any nation is shaped in its classrooms... If Sarojininagar is to become India's first net-zero assembly constituency, the journey must begin with our schools."...
