Haridwar, May 23 -- A heavy rush of pilgrims continues at the offline Char Dham Yatra registration centre at Rishikul ground in Haridwar, with officials reporting an unprecedented footfall despite intense heat conditions. According to data shared by the registration centre, more than 0.25 million pilgrims have registered since the process began on April 17. Officials said that on average, around 15,000 devotees are being registered daily at the facility. Authorities said that adequate arrangements have been made to manage the crowd and ensure a smooth registration process. A total of 20 registration counters have been set up, operating in two shifts with deployed personnel .
