Dehradun, March 7 -- The High Power Committee (HPC) of the Uttarakhand Climate Resilient Rainfed Agriculture Project (UCRRFP) on Friday approved an annual action plan of Rs.187.11 crore for the financial year 2026-27 during a meeting chaired by chief secretary Anand Bardhan. The committee reviewed the updated physical and financial progress of the project and also approved a revised annual action plan of Rs.62.19 crore for the financial year 2025-26, officials said. During the fourth meeting of the HPC, the committee also approved the Project Operations Guidelines, the Financial Management System Manual and various forms and guideline booklets prepared to ensure the effective implementation of the project. Bardhan directed officials to prepare plans at the village level in accordance with local needs while keeping the objectives of the project in focus so that farmers and rural communities can derive maximum benefits....
