Rohit Mishra takes charge as BJYM chief
Lucknow, July 13 -- Newly appointed Uttar Pradesh president of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM), Rohit Mishra, formally assumed charge at the BJP's state headquarters here on Sunday after leading a procession from the 1090 Crossing to the party office.
A large number of BJYM workers and supporters joined the rally, while party workers and social organisations welcomed the procession with flower showers at several points along the route.
Addressing a Yuva Samvad programme attended by youth workers from across the state, Mishra launched a sharp attack on the Samajwadi Party and Congress, accusing them of pursuing caste-based politics. "They will seek to divide society through caste, while we will unite it through nationalism," he said, adding that the BJP would approach the people with its record of development rather than "the arithmetic of caste."
He claimed that transparent recruitment had provided employment to lakhs of youth and that Uttar Pradesh had witnessed unprecedented infrastructure development, including expressways, airports and medical colleges.
He also credited chief minister Yogi Adityanath with improving law and order and ensuring merit-based opportunities for young people....
