Haldwani, June 12 -- Nainital district administration has cancelled the registrations of 88 more homestays for violating norms under the state's homestay scheme, taking the total number of cancelled registrations in the district to 238. Lalit Mohan Rayal, District Magistrate, Nainital, said complaints regarding irregularities in the operation of homestays had prompted joint inspections by the administration and the tourism department.
