Raj CM: Govt aims to deliver welfare schemes to last person in queue
Jaipur, June 18 -- Chief minister Bhajan Lal Sharma on Wednesday said the state government's objective is to ensure that the benefits of welfare schemes and public services reach the last person in society, adding that urban and rural service camps are being organised across the state to provide quick and effective solutions to citizens' problems.
Sharma made the remarks while inspecting an Urban Service Camp at the Udaipur Development Authority (UDA) premises. During the visit, he interacted with beneficiaries and sought feedback on government welfare schemes and the functioning of the camp.
Sharma said the state government is working continuously to empower every individual socially and economically. "The purpose of these service camps is to take government services directly to the people and ensure that their grievances are resolved without delay," he said.
Highlighting the services being provided through the camps, he said cases related to land leases (pattas), mutation of property records, birth and death certificates, and various revenue and civic services were being resolved on the spot. He added that follow-up camps would be organised for cases requiring additional verification or procedural formalities.
Sharma directed officials to treat all public grievances seriously, regardless of their size. "Every issue, whether small or large, must be addressed with sincerity. There should be no negligence in resolving the problems of citizens attending these camps," he said.
The CM stated that the government's priority is to ensure easy access to basic facilities for all sections of society.
