PRAYAGRAJ, June 16 -- Professor Uma Maheswara Rao has assumed additional charge as the director of the Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology (MNNIT), Prayagraj, following directives from the Union ministry of education. Currently serving as the director of the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Rourkela, Prof Rao has been entrusted with this additional responsibility to oversee the administrative and academic functions of MNNIT Prayagraj. Upon taking charge, Prof Rao reaffirmed his commitment to strengthening the institute's growth in research, innovation, and technical education.
