Poll results reflect people's faith in PM's leadership: Yogi
LUCKNOW, May 5 -- UP chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday lauded the BJP-led NDA's performance in the assembly elections, saying the results were a reflection of people's unwavering faith in Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his welfare-oriented policies.
In a post on X, Adityanath described the outcome as a "historic mandate" that would accelerate the vision of a developed India.
"The people of the country have unshakeable faith in the successful leadership of the prime minister and his pro-people policies, which is once again reflected in the historic assembly election results," he said.
The NDA forming the government for the first time in West Bengal, for the third consecutive time in Assam and for the second time in Puducherry is a testament to this deep public confidence, he added.
"This unprecedented mandate from the people will give a new momentum to the grand resolve of the prime minister for a 'New India-Developed India', Adityanath further said.
Adityanath congratulated all dedicated office bearers, hardworking workers and winning candidates associated with the BJP organisation in West Bengal, Assam and Puducherry for this historic victory....
