Mumbai, Oct. 2 -- Eight 16-year-old students of a private coaching institute in Pune drowned in the Arabian Sea while on a picnic at the Diveagar beach in Raigad district of Maharashtra on Thursday, police said. Officers aware of the details said the victims, part of a group of 48 students who had gone on the picnic, ventured into the sea and were swept away after misjudging the depth of the water and current.
