LUCKNOW, March 6 -- The UP government will provide subsidised agricultural equipment to over 3,300 farmers, a press statement issued on Thursday read. Farmers who have applied online on the agriculture department's website www.agridarshan.up.gov.in by March 4 will receive this benefit, the statement read. Only those districts that have received more applications than the target will be selected through e-lottery on Friday. In all, 2,519 farmers will receive equipment under the sub-mission on Agricultural Mechanization Scheme. Under the sub-mission on Agricultural Mechanization Scheme, 2,519 farmers will receive tools under the Farm Machinery Bank, like agricultural drones and other equipments.
