PRAYAGRAJ, March 16 -- More than a hundred guests reportedly fell ill due to suspected food poisoning during a banquet at a guest house in Rahimapur under the Jhunsi area of Prayagraj on Saturday night, causing panic at the venue. The affected individuals were rushed to nearby private hospitals for treatment. The banquet was organised at a guest house in Rahimapur following the wedding of Ramawadh Yadav from Sherdih village. Late at night, several guests suddenly began vomiting and suffering from diarrhoea after consuming the food. As the condition of many victims worsened, panic and chaos spread among those present at the venue. Around one hundred people including the groom's family are presently undergoing treatment for food poisoning at various hospitals in and around the Jhunsi area in Prayagraj. Preliminary suspicion suggests that the incident may have been caused by contamination or spoilage in the food served at the banquet. No casualty was reported in the incident....
