NPCL to set up EV charging stations in 3 Gr Noida societies
LUCKNOW, June 4 -- In a major push towards green mobility, NPCL will soon establish electric vehicle (EV) charging facilities in three residential societies - Nirala Aspire, 16th Avenue and Supertech Czar in Greater Noida.
"The initiative aims to provide convenient, reliable and cost-effective charging infrastructure to residents and encourage wider adoption of EVs," a NPCL spokesman said.
The charging stations will offer both fast and slow charging options, with each facility capable of charging two vehicles simultaneously. Nirala Aspire will also get two battery-swapping stations, enabling EV users to replace discharged batteries with fully charged ones within minutes.
NPCL said fast chargers can fully charge vehicles in about 45-50 minutes, while slow charging may take four to five hours. Charging within residential societies will be cheaper than public charging stations.
The company has also identified five additional locations for future EV charging stations and has already established charging facilities at 12 locations across Greater Noida, including the district's largest EV charging plaza at Tilpata.
Fast chargers will be able to fully charge electric vehicles in approximately 45 to 50 minutes, whereas slow charging will take around 4 to 5 hours.
Fast charging costs Rs.15.75 per unit (plus GST), while slow charging is priced at Rs.12.75 per unit (plus GST)....
