Lucknow, April 22 -- Uttar Pradesh legislature's day-long special session has been convened here to discuss the issue of women empowerment on 30 April 2026. The state legislative assembly on Tuesday issued a notification in this regard. Principal secretary Vidhan Sabha in a notification issued on Thursday said governor of Uttar Pradesh has summoned the 18th Vidhan Sabha to meet at 11am on Thursday, 30th April 2026, at the Vidhan Sabha hall.
